With so many independent musicians in Ireland you have to make sure to stand out of the crowd. The best way to make sure you always reach and engage with your audience, even outside the venue is through social media.

We have compilated a few amazing social media profiles of Irish Bands for you!

Social media marketing for musicians in dublin is becoming more and more important. If you are not sure what to do exactly - have a look at the following amazing examples of irish bands on social media.

1. Kodaline

Kodaline has been an amazing example for rocking their social media profiles and maximising engagement with their fans to an extent that is unbelievable.

Their current stats are:

  • 694 402 Friends on Facebook
  • 274k Followers on Twitter
  • 125k Followers on Instagram

In 2015 they outdone themselves by launching their new single "The One" with a massive social media bang. Kodaline were asking their fans to Instagram or Tweet pictures of themselves explaining "How did you know they're the one?" through #TheOne . Their favorite pics were then selected and featured in the video for their new single.

Check out their initial promo video on the Hotpress Website and the final product of Kodaline #TheOne Fanvideo

This is a brilliant and creative way to collaborate with your fans and make them part of your music!

2. Keywest

Keywest is the best example of creating a massive fanbase and finally also bagging a record deal through Facebook and other Social Media channels. While busking on Grafton Street for ages, the band always made sure to leverage all of the social media marketing tactics out there for independent musicians.

3. Otherkin

Otherkin are a great new irish rock punk band making us all proud of great indie alternative music again. They are 4 young lads some of them just graduated from Medschool who are doing very well on Social Media too. They make sure they post every single event they play on, tweet their new and upcoming tunes and retweet every single mention they get from their fans. This is an example of how you can leverage your audience and grow to get your record deal signed asap.

4. Dahiti

Another brilliant Irish DJ the other side of the coast. He is not only super enthousiastic about making people dance like mad to his brilliant synth fiddle tunes, but he is also a lover of the irish rare landscape which he always posts on his profile as well. Showing a bit of personality to your fans, that they can relate to is a great way of socialising with them. It does not always have to be about your music, or your next evet. Or better it shouldn't be - get personal and show yourself as you would to your friends.

We first discovered Daithí while he was taking part in “Sky1's - Must Be The Music”, where he got under the last 15 contestants in the final. He stood out, because of his original way of using an electronic synthesized fiddle. This was something we haven’t seen before and was a revolutionary approach to combining electronic and traditional music elements.

5.God Creative

Is an Irish - Dublin born and bread rapper that is working and producing a variety of amazing tunes. With this being a very niche audience and market we find he has definitely an amazing online presence.

He is leveraging all possible social media channels, as well as running his own website, writing blogpost frequently, sharing Instagram pictures with his audience, backstage and onstage! And feeding brilliant and well written content back to his community.

He also shares and collaborates openly with other artists in the irish independent musicians community and gives other artist a chance to leverage their
